“Does My Love For You Come From Shakespeare Too,” according to the Big Stir Website, is “a song inspired by the personal journey of a great friend of The Stillsouls who walked away from everything in search of a way to defeat his sorrows, and remains missing today.” The song features a lush, full Jeff Lynne / Elo feel, with smooth, elegant pacing and stately guitar solos.

“Old Guitars Are Ghosts on the Sunset Strip” changes gears into a beautiful stomp that brings back memories of Motörhead’s “Orgasmatron” and Billy Squier’s “Everybody Wants You,” with a little vintage Bowie / Ronson crooning to ice the cake. To call it “infectious” is an understatement…it’s bold, fuzzy, cocky, and effortlessly cool.

The Stillsouls are Cody Melville, John Melville, Joel B Cannon, Jesse Bryson, and Steve Mostyn
